WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

SHORTFACTS

Number of people and teams

When you purchase a ticket, you will receive an access link for a team on our challenge platform, which shows you all the puzzle stations during the game and allows you to submit your solutions. A maximum of 6 people are allowed per team.

Holy Saturday, April 4, 2026

Our Easter Challenge 2026 will take place on Holy Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Outdoor | Vienna and Graz

The challenge takes place exclusively outdoors and simultaneously in Vienna and Graz. In Vienna, the play area extends over the Prater-Au (around the main avenue from the WU area to the Lusthaus area). In Graz, puzzles are solved throughout the entire Stadtpark and on the Schloßberg.

180 minutes playtime

The challenge starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM. You therefore have exactly three hours to solve as many puzzle tasks as possible.

Difficulty ■■■□□

The challenge is of medium difficulty and, thanks to tasks of varying difficulty levels, is suitable for children, teenagers, adults, beginners, and also experts.

Suitable for ages 12 to 99 years

We recommend this challenge for ages 12 and up. Groups consisting solely of children are not recommended due to some of the quite challenging puzzles.

Only available in German

Our Easter Challenge 2026 is offered only in German.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

THE CHALLENGE

How does it work?

After the challenge starts at 3:00 PM, you will see a map of the play area on our challenge platform, showing a total of 30 puzzle stations that you can visit in any order you like.

Each station will earn you 2, 4, or 6 points upon success—depending on the difficulty level and time required. If you solve the task, the corresponding number of points will be credited to your account.

What is our goal?

Collect as many points as possible in three hours – ideally more than all your opponents. You will compete against well over 100 rival teams – so you definitely don’t have to worry about being underchallenged.

Questions and Answers

Where does the challenge start?
The challenge has no fixed start or end point. You decide which stations to visit and when based on their location and points. A good strategy helps – completing all stations is possible but challenging. Important: Be sure to be at any location within the game area by 3:00 PM.

Do we need to prepare?
You need a smartphone with a fully charged battery and internet connection if possible. We also recommend comfortable clothing and writing materials for taking notes on site.

How are the puzzles solved?
At each station, you will find a mounted board with a puzzle. When you have the solution, enter it on your smartphone and you will immediately receive feedback on whether your answer is correct or incorrect.

What happens if we answer incorrectly?
You have only one attempt per station. If your answer is wrong, that location is locked and you can no longer earn points there. In that case, simply move on to the next station.

Are the puzzles explained at the end?
Yes. Right after the challenge ends, you will receive an email with all the correct answers and their explanations. The winning team will also receive all information about the prize they have won.

Which team wins?
The team with the most points at the end of the challenge wins. If two or more teams have the same number of points, the deciding factor is the time when the last points were earned.

What happens if our battery runs out?
If your battery is low or the internet is unstable, you can switch to a second smartphone: scan the QR code or click the link – you can then continue playing as usual.

What rules do we have to follow?
- Boards are placed at all puzzle stations. Please leave the stations as you found them.

- You start as a team and should solve the puzzles as a team. Deliberately splitting up to save time is not allowed and will be monitored by us.

- Teams can be disqualified and removed from the results list for grossly unfair behavior.
