GENERAL
Has the battery of your game device run out? As long as you still have a second device with you, this is not a problem at first. You can also log in on a second, third, or fourth device via the link received by email – however, if you have not played on that device before, you will need to navigate to the point where the battery ran out on your original game device. This may be a bit tedious, but you definitely do not have to revisit places you have already completed. Tasks that can only be done at a specific location (such as scanning with your camera) can simply be skipped. The map is not loading? This is most likely due to a weak internet connection. Instead, navigate to the destination using Google Maps – you can answer the verification question (if there is one) on site even without viewing the map.
Why is the “Continue” button locked even though the solution is correct? In rare cases, the browser does not properly save an intermediate step even though you have done everything correctly. First, try a normal reload. If that is not enough, close the tab completely and open the link again – this often restores the local state correctly. Only if you are still stuck afterwards is deleting website data the hard reset. After that, you usually start at zero on the device but can generally click your way quickly back to the correct point. Why is the team setup or the “Please wait” page stuck? If your team leader is currently saving the team name and photo, players may briefly land on a waiting page. If this takes unusually long, reload once. And if it still hangs or for some reason you do not have a working team leader, you can leave the waiting page by clicking “Skip” and continue playing anyway. In that case, you can optionally add the team photo and team name at the very end of the mission.
THE PUPPET SHOW
We want to pick up our mission documents at the Blumenrad checkout, but the checkout is closed. We are very sorry about this, and it should of course not happen. Please wait 2-3 minutes. If the situation does not change, you will find a QR code at the checkout booth (on the side where "BLUMENRAD" is also written above) at the bottom right (about knee height). Please scan it with your smartphone so we can resolve the problem.
There is a card missing in our envelope. What should we do? To successfully complete the mission, you need a total of 8 cards in the colors yellow, orange, red, green, turquoise, blue, violet, and pink. If a mistake happened during packaging, please return to the Blumenrad checkout and exchange your envelope for a new one.
Are you having problems with the big finale? You have reached the big finale once you see the box in full view and a scrolling text runs through it. If you have a problem with this task (insider closed, clue not found, insider left too early, etc.), you will find a small black button with the text "Problems with this task" directly below the box on your smartphone. Click it and answer the questions about your problem there. We have a suitable solution ready for every scenario.
How does the solution input work with the doll? Click the box where the doll is sitting if you want to enter a solution word. Use the up and down arrow keys to select a letter. Use the left and right arrow keys to move the cursor and thus determine the position where you want to change the letter. If your solution is correct, you will receive immediate feedback without having to confirm your input. If nothing happens, your solution is wrong. Take a hint at the top right if you are stuck.
We cannot or do not want to ride the Blumenrad. Tap on hints at the top right and then on the blue circle. There you will find an alternative solution path.

CRIME SCENE: VIENNA
Why does the camera image stay black or not display at all? Usually, this is due to a camera permission not being properly granted or because the link was opened in an in-app browser. If you tap "Start camera" and only see a black image, simply reloading often isn’t enough: close the tab completely and open the link again so the permission prompt appears and you can select "Allow." If no prompt appears at all, the camera permission is probably already set to "Blocked." In that case, you need to change it back to "Allow" in your settings or website permissions. If possible, open the mission directly in Safari or Chrome instead of Instagram/Facebook/WhatsApp—in-app browsers often cause issues with camera and media.
Why doesn’t the scan recognize the target even though we’re sure it’s correct? The scan is very sensitive to light, distance, and how large the target object appears in the image. Hold your phone steady, give the scan a moment, and try one or two attempts because some devices are a bit slower. Make sure there’s good lighting, avoid strong reflections, and ensure the object isn’t too small in the frame. If your connection is slow, it might also take a moment for everything to be ready—please wait. And if you’re absolutely sure you have the right object but the scan still won’t work, use the skip option as a last resort so you can continue playing.

Why is there no sound from the radio or does the audio seem blocked? On smartphones, audio in browsers is often only allowed after a deliberate tap. Make sure your phone is really loud and not on silent mode (especially important for iPhones). Open the radio and tap on it once deliberately or close it briefly and open it again. If you hear static, that is a good sign – then audio is basically working and you should best leave these settings as they are until the end. If you have Bluetooth headphones or a car connected, the sound may also be playing “elsewhere”; if in doubt, briefly turn off Bluetooth and test again.
Why are letters or pictures hard to read or cannot be zoomed? The system deliberately prevents normal browser zoom because on smartphones it often shifts the layout and “breaks” things by zooming. Instead, the viewer has its own functions for enlarging and reducing as well as a 100% view and – if provided – a move/drag tool. If a picture looks blurry, wait a moment until it is fully loaded; with a weak connection, the sharper version may take a moment to appear.
